GETTING ORGANIZED

After months of my "embellishment" bin falling over again and again on my craft shelf, I decided enough was enough! I didn't know what die cuts and stickers/rub-ons I even had....pathetic right!!!???? I bought a clear, accordian style case, that had fun labels, to organize everything! What a relief!!

I wish I had taken a before pic of the bin, but here is the bin...still has a few of my chipboard pieces in it, but I have a smaller bin to move those to.

This is the new Folio.....small pockets at the bottom and bigger pockets as the folio expands back

I added these photo holders to the back with velcro for more storage for my bigger flowers and die cuts

All labeled and organized!!!!

The first card is using the New Razzelberry cardstock and the New Cottage Wall Designer Paper from the new SU catalog. The cupcake card is using the cupcake die cut and the Big shot machine....I love using crazy colors and mixing them to see what I can come up with

Card Set Class - April 09

Starting in April, in addition to my regular monthly card class, I am adding another class, called Card Set Classes. These classes will include 8 cards (2) of each (4) designs and a box with lid to store your cards in. These box sets will make great gifts, or will be nice for you to just have on hand for yourself.
The Class will be $18 pp, and includes all precut and scored cardstock, envelopes, card box and directions, light snacks and beverages.

The April class, called Crazy for Cupcakes, will be offered twice this month. The first class will be Saturday, April 18 from 9:30am-11:30 am and the second class will be Monday, April 27 from 6-8pm. PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS IS DIFFERENT FROM OUR MONTHLY STAMP NIGHT...THAT CLASS WILL STILL BE OFFERED, THIS IS JUST AN ADDITIONAL CLASS I AM OFFERING.
Here are samples of the Crazy for Cupcakes class. Again, you will be making 8 cards, 2 of each 4 designs and the card box with clear lid. I also want to note that this class design was from a class that I purchased from Andrea Walford. http://www.andreawalford.com/ although I modified the class and cards a bit!

March 09 Samples

Here are the samples for our March 24th monthly stamp class. We are using some of the SAB products as well as the Big Shot to add texture to the cardstock. The Easter card is what I like to call a surprise card - it's a super easy card to make yet looks like it took a long time. Looking forward to seeing you all at class next week!!!

FEB 09 Memories in Minutes Kit

I am so excited to unveil my first installment of my Memories in Minutes Scrap Page Kits. This month's kit is available for purchase now through March 15 for $15.00 if you are local, $18 if you need me to mail it to you. The kit contains all the items shown above, UNASSEMBELED, along with a photo of my layout and directions. My "photos" and directions are simply a guide. I would love to see what you all create with the kit. The idea is to keep the pages simple enough so you aren't spending hours on pages....simple assembly... and add your photos and journaling. The kits are packages nicely with backing protectors so the pages don't bend and are stored in cello bags. Please contact me if you are interested in a kit .....krazeerehead2003@yahoo.com

New Samples with New Catalog Products

Below are samples from my January 09 stamp class. Card #3 is my favorite - we used the new Raspberry Tart designer paper and the new set Sweet Stems. I just love the color combination of this new paper. I see myself using this paper a lot - it's very girly yet still makes a statement.

Here are some new samples I have been working on with some of the new products from the Summer/Spring catalog. I love the new designer papers, especially the new embossed and textured papers. My new favorite stamp set is Good Friend - it has a very retro design to it and I love making samples with it!

Card #1 :
Paper: Pacific Blue, Tangerine Tango, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Ink: Pacific Blue, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Black
Accessories: Pacific Blue striped Ribbon, Chunky Glitter, Glue Pen
Stamp Set: Good Friend
Card #2
Paper: Certainly Celery, Sp Saffron, Tempting Turquoise, Flock Together DSP
Ink: Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, Black
Accessories: Celery and Turquoise Ribbon, Circle and Scallop Punches
Stamp Set: Trendy Trees
Card #3
Paper: Elegant Eggplant, White
Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Certainly Celery, Baja Blue
Accessories: Celery & Eggplant Ribbon, Silver Brads, Sponges
Stamp Sets: 5th Ave Floral, Sweet little Sentiments (hostess)

The cards above are a new fold that I saw on Splitcoast stampers - it's very simple and puts a new twist on the card.

Card #4
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
INK: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Artichoke
Accessories: Scallop Punch (Long), Felt Flowers, Jeweled Brads
Stamp Sets: Good Friend, Happy Everything

Cards #1-#4 are the cards we will be making at this months Stamp Class. I still have space available, so email me asap if you are interested in coming! Card #5 is still in the works, but you won't be disappointed!

These cards I made for my birthday card stash. I got the idea from my friend Rose at her class last month. It uses the Stamp Set Crazy for Cupcakes... I don't own this, but it is now on my wish list. The background paper is NOT Stampin' Up, but I though it was appropriate for the cards themselves.

It's all for you

As most of you know I have been working a full time job with my father for over 5 years now, my part time job at the restaurant for over 13 years and continuing to do Stampin' Up in my "spare time"..hahah!!! I have been wanting to cut back at the restaurant but didn't think I could financially do it, but since this year is all about change and doing things for yourself and doing things for others, I decided to just bite the bullet and talk to my boss at the restaurant. I was sick to my stomach all day over this, I don't want to "let people down". I didn't want to add more to her plate by asking to reduce my shifts to 2 a week instead of 3. But I was given good advice today "follow your heart, do what your heart tells you" So I did....and it went perfect. She completely understood me, as she used to work full and part time as well, and raise a daughter. I feel that now... I have more me time, which means more YOU time. I can now use that deleted shift to "work" at home on creating more classes, get my scrappin kits together (which by the way is now named "Memories in Minutes") and spend time doing what I love to do - create! I have been talking to some of you about this and thank you for all your support. I am looking forward to not only doing something I love, but helping you create and do something you love!

Welcome to my Blog

Thanks so much for checking out my blog. This whole "blogging" thing is new to me, so bear with me as I figure this all out. By the end of this weekend I will have new samples posted for you to see.

I will also have monthly Scrap Kits for sale by the end of Jan, beginning of Feb. The kits will be available for $15.00 plus shipping. These kits will be for 12x12 scrapbooks, although if you make smaller books, you can always cut the papers down. The kits will include 12x12 papers, embellishments, stamped images, etc. as well as a sample layout picture. All you have to do is assemble the layout and add your photos. Simple!

I am in the process of working on Scrap Kit monthly subscriptions as well, meaning you can purchase monthly and pay monthly, pay every 3 months for 3 months worth of kits, etc. More details will follow on this topic.

Aside from scrapbooking kits, I also offer monthly stamp classes at my house, the 3rd Tues of every month. We make 5 cards complete with envelopes for $8.00, light snacks and drinks are provided. RSVP's are required for classes. If you would like me to add you to my email list to remind you about classes, please contact me at krazeeredhead2003@yahoo

and I will add you to that list.

That's about it for now, I'm going to work on adding more "bling" to my page - again, thanks for checking it out!!
